Who “we” are
The website address is: https://murasama.net. Stylized as Murasama•net, this is the top level domain for this “media hub” site which serves as a consolidated frontend for various media (photos and videos) that are directly on this server or hosted on external platforms like Flickr, Google Photo (archived from Picasa Web Albums), MEGA, YouTube, or Vimeo. This privacy policy also applies to all subdomains which may use this media in content posted on those other subdomains.
As for myself, I run these sites (blogs) in addition to this media hub (a smaller version of the media web portal I used to run from 2005-2015 in Japan) as a hobby. On occasion, two colleagues/friends may assist: Yuuko and Shii.
Cookies
For GDRP purposes, when clicking on a video for the first time, a dialog may display asking for your consent to be able to playback videos that may be hosted from a service provided by an external third party (MEGA, YouTube, or Vimeo).
Media hosted on MEGA (which uses MEGA’s video player) sets one cookie for country region (for CDN purposes) while the other hosted videos (the majority of the ones that I currently have published) are played through the HTML5 player (with the purple colored play button), sets a cookie for retaining volume and other player settings.
These cookies contain no personal data.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this main domain and subdomains may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). I am trying to source everything via this “media hub” and/or directly hosted on the same server (there is still image media in postings migrated from Blogger that are still pointing to Google’s servers that I’ll be fixing). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website. I would suggest at minimum, installing a web browser extension like Privacy Badger (better yet, using a privacy focused web browser AND vetted extensions like Privacy Badger).
Who we share your data with
Since none of your personal data is collected, there is no personal data of yours to share (and this would not be shared if such personal data existed).
